Reality Distortion Room is a unique spatial augmented reality system that combines dynamic projection mapping, multiple perspective views and device-less interaction to study user interaction and response without wires in the 3D virtual environment.



AR will be challenged and limited by the physical space of the room. Reality Distortion Room is a proof of concept that relocates and clearance interaction space. We found the RoomAlive system to be the best platform to test these demos witch does not require cumbersome devices that obstruct user movements. We present an initial user experiment that shows that participants react and move in a certain direction when the distortion effects are applied. Understanding how a user can be manipulated in the room space will be a crucial understanding to do the contents which need to calculate the next content.
